The rules for using Finance Mentor Daily.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Jorn Geutjens, a sole proprietor operating under the trade name Finance Mentor Daily, registered in the Netherlands ("we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Finance Mentor Daily mobile application and website at financementordaily.com (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, downloading the app, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Finance Mentor Daily provides short, self-paced financial education lessons delivered through a mobile application, designed to help users build general financial knowledge and habits.
Finance Mentor Daily is an educational product only. Nothing within the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal, or other professional advice, and no advisor-client, fiduciary, or similar relationship is created by your use of the Service. Content is provided for general informational and educational purposes and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any financial decision. You should consult a licensed, qualified professional before making financial decisions specific to your circumstances. We make no guarantee of any particular financial outcome, savings, or result from using the Service.
The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If we become aware that an account belongs to someone under 18, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate that account.
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information, to keep it up to date, and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at info@financementordaily.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Certain features of Finance Mentor Daily are offered on a monthly subscription basis. Subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and your purchase is subject to the applicable store's payment terms in addition to these Terms.
New subscribers receive a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid monthly subscription and you will be charged the subscription price at the end of the 14-day trial period, and every month thereafter until you cancel.
The length of your billing period, the price you will be charged, and what is included in your subscription will always be clearly displayed before you complete a purchase, and your subscription will continue to automatically renew at that price and frequency until you cancel it.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the app on a personal device you own or control, solely for your own personal, non-commercial use.

The Service, including all lesson content, text, graphics, logos, and the Finance Mentor Daily name and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely secure. Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer under EU or Dutch law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including any financial decisions made in reliance on content within the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, or at our discretion with reasonable notice where required by law. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 8, 9, 10, and 12) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you also benefit from any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your country of residence, and nothing in this section deprives you of that protection. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of the Netherlands, without prejudice to your right as a consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of your own country of residence.
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply and take precedence over anything to the contrary in these Terms, in accordance with Apple's requirements for apps distributed through the App Store:
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service or for legal or regulatory reasons. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and where appropriate, through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
